Guides and FAQ about Zipline Tours in Koh Samui.

For first-timers we recommend the Lamai Viewpoint Zipline – it's shorter, more relaxed, and the cable car adds an extra experience. If you want the full adrenaline experience from day one, Hawk Adventure's Silver Course is a great entry point before upgrading to Gold.

Most operators have a maximum weight of 100–120kg. Hawk Adventure allows up to 130kg on their Gold Course – the highest limit on the island. Always check with the specific operator when booking.

Closed-toe shoes are essential – sandals and flip-flops are not permitted on any course. Wear comfortable, non-baggy clothes. Tie back long hair. Bring sunscreen and a small bag for valuables – lockers are usually available at the park.

Most operators allow children aged 6+ if accompanied by an adult. Lamai Viewpoint allows children under 6 on the zipline accompanied by a trained staff member. Sky Bicycle requires a minimum age of 10.

Light rain is generally fine and most tours operate in all weather. Heavy rain or thunderstorms may cause temporary pauses for safety. All bookings through Viator and GYG include free cancellation if tours are cancelled due to weather.

Hawk Adventure, Samui Zipline Adventure, ATV+Zipline Combo and Sky Bicycle all include hotel pickup. Lamai Viewpoint and Tree Bridge do not include pickup – you need your own transport to the site.

Hawk Adventure has the longest overall experience with 5,000m+ of total zipline length across 21 platforms. For a single longest line, Lamai Viewpoint has a 440m continuous run which is one of the longest single lines on the island.

During peak season (December–April) we recommend booking at least 3–7 days in advance, especially for Hawk Adventure which fills up quickly. Outside peak season, same-day or next-day availability is usually possible.
